Taegukgi Hwinallimyo (태극기 휘날리며) is a war film from South Korea by Kang Je-Gyu, Jang Dong Gun in the main roles and Won Bin. It tells the story about the effect of the Korean War in two brothers. The film has attracted one of the biggest successes in Korean film history up to that time 11.74 million people in the theater, beating the previous record holder Silmido.
