How the Internet is the Green Power

Google Tech Talk 13th April 2010 Summary of S. Keshav presented. Many powerful forces come together to make fundamental changes to the model secular and irrevocable. The next generation of the grid, often called "Smart Grid, is' the production of energy, much more space, millions of stochastic renewable energy sources and use of communication technologies are distributed either exact match between supply and demand to allow adequate incentives for consumer behavior.These changes have led to a reduction of energy consumption and reduce the environmental footprint of the network, making it "smarter" and "green". In this talk I will demonstrate that the concepts and techniques of Internet pioneers are the result of four decades of research in this area, directly in the design of an intelligent, "Green Grid". This is because the Internet and power supply are designed to meet the basic needs of information and energy that each ofConnect geographically dispersed geographically suppliers and consumers. Prior to this and other similarities (and fundamental differences, but also) because I propose several areas in which the Internet can contribute to concepts and technologies for the development of an intelligent, "Green Grid".
